Methodology

Initially the total volume of the domestic wastewater generation in each city was estimated Secondary research with inputs from primary research was used for finding out the number of treatment plants/capacities The volume of wastewater collected through sewerage, septic tankers and not collected at all (which was let into canals, rivers, water ponds was estimated The share was calculated and presented in the report
